LEGO® The Electric Smart Car

Since 1987, the 2441 Vehicle Base Plate is used in several polybags and sets. Despite the plate is available in only six different and mostly classic colors, it can be the source for creative and diverse designs of 4-stud wide cars and vehicles. For this reason, this build illustrates an Electric Smart Car for a less carbon-intensive form of transportation in a Blue and Metallic color scheme.

The model consists of 140 parts. It is mostly built out of standard parts you can find at home! Give it a try in different colors! The final build measures approximately 4.5 x 7.5 x 5.0 cm or 2.0 x 3.0 x 2.0 in for the car itself, and 4.0 x 8.0 x 8.0 cm or 1.5 x 3.0 x 3.0 in for the side build.
