LEGO® The Statue of Liberty Pedestal
The Statue of Liberty is one of the most iconic landmarks in the United States of America and the subject of countless photographs every year. The 93 m high figure was constructed from concrete, steel, and copper and weighs over 204 metric tons. Originally dedicated by the people of France in 1886 to commemorate the abolition of slavery after the Civil War, it has since evolved into a symbol of freedom and endless opportunity. For this reason, Lady Liberty - along with Liberty Island and Ellis Island - was declared a United States National Monument 100 years ago, in 1924.
The model consists of 123 parts and is an addition to the Lady Liberty Minifigure from the LEGO CMF Series 6, LEGO 40519 New York Postcard, and the LEGO 854031 Magnet. The final build measures approximately 6.5 x 6.5 x 6.0 cm or 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 in for the pedestal and 6.5 x 6.5 x 11.0 cm or 2.5 x 2.5 x 4.5 in in total.
